WELCOME TO WEST KENT LADIES PUTTING & PROSECCO

We are holding two fun open afternoons for any women who are thinking they might like to take up golf, return to golf, or find out what benefits there are to being a member of a golf club. Sunday 14th OR Sunday 21st April 2024.

Golf is a great way to exercise and is proven to support mental health and well-being, as well as giving numerous health benefits. It is a very social sport, as the handicap system means that people of different standards can play against or with each other on equal terms.

More women are becoming interested in golf, but many find it daunting; however with our friendly group lessons, we hope to offer you the chance to make new friends and enjoy learning in a relaxed atmosphere.

Women are made very welcome by the club as a whole; we have lots of mixed competitions where you can play in an all-female team or mix it up and let some of the men join you.

If you would like to come along and have a go at swinging a club – and of course have some prosecco with your putting, some of our female members and Golf Professionals will be there to welcome you, help you out with the basics and answer your questions.

All equipment will be provided, just wear comfortable sportswear.

The number we can accommodate at the sessions will be limited, so please make sure you register for your place soon!

There will be a one-off opportunity to sign up to a short course of group taster lessons on the day.

There will be a last chance to take up our membership incentive of £500 for Full Membership to 30th September 2024; only open to Ladies who hold a valid handicap certificate. You must sign up by 31/4/24.

Any member who introduces a new woman golfer to the Academy programme or the Introductory Trial Membership will benefit from having £100 put on their bar card!
